My little string-bean!

I love the fall, it's my favorite season. I love what I call jacket weather, and sweatshirts are my favorite article of clothing. The weather is starting to change and after almost freezing Logan during our walk on Friday, I got out some of the warmer clothes that he has, and since then I have dressed him in layers. The hardest thing is, I am not quite sure what size he wears. He doesn't really fit into traditional baby sizes. Length-wise, if the outfit has feet, he needs at least 6-9 months (his feet just touch the bottom when he stretches), but his 0-3 months pants and shorts are still a little big around the waist. He's just my skinny little string-bean.

Logan has always loved putting things on his limbs. I caught him putting both these toys on himself. One on his arm and one on his leg! Below was another day he tried to put his other toys on his foot. I can already see his little personality coming out.

He is just adorable. That smile is the cutest! I'll have to try those cookies for Jeremy. He loves the chocolate ones that you put peanut butter chips in... he might just go for those ones too. And I love the matching shirts! I've never thought of matching my boys to their daddy... good idea!

Tiff, I have that same problem dressing Maggie. She can still wear 3-6 month onesies, but if it has to be long enough, then its 12 months. At least Maggie has a string bean boyfriend among all the chunky babies. Logan is adorable and yeah those cookies look delish, thanks for sharing.

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza....

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!

Not Quite . . .

We are just loving the summer. Logan especially loves to be outside and will crawl to the front door and stand up and grab the door knob! He was able to play with his cousins over the weekend at a park and his grandparents this week. He never sits still, not even for a second. Also, over the weekend he took two steps, not to his mother or father mind you, but to his cousins! Josh and I have been trying to have him walk to us for weeks with no real progress. His cousin Ashley puts out her hands and he takes two steps on his own to her! Then yesterday when my parents were here we were all trying to get him to walk and he started taking a few steps at a time. The most he took was 10! He is on the way to full walking status. I know walking just means getting into more things, but I am ready to not have to carry him around everywhere. He is starting to be quite the chunker! And I think he may qualify for tallest child that can't walk. We go around town and these little, tiny, pe...
