Here's Hoping . . .

We are going to Disneyland in just about a month, and I am wondering if Logan will grow 3/4 of an inch, because this sweet thing measured in at 39 1/4 inches (and 36.6 lbs) today at the doctor and Splash Mountain is only 3/4 of an inch away. Grow buddy, grow.

Happy Birthday Logan!

Woohoo! Today Logan turns 2! And over the weekend my Grandma Wickham made him a rockin' cake.

Fish, Fish, Fish

Last weekend when my family was down, we were also able to go to the Aquarium in Sandy. Logan liked looking at all the fish, and it was nice, because they have it designed so little kids can see all the exhibits. He loves doing things by himself these days. There was a place to touch some sting rays. I touched one of course, but Logan's arms were too short to reach all the way down. I don't think he minded though, because I let him play in the water for quite awhile.

I'll Go Inside Someday

We went to the Draper Temple open house on Friday morning, and on Thursday I was telling Logan that my family was coming and we were going to see the temple. For the temple is a house of God, a place of love and beauty . . . " I started laughing. Good connection buddy, I guess someday turned out to be Friday, not exactly what the song is implying, but going inside anyway. I loved going through the temple. The entire thing is gorgeous. It is a reminder about how sacred temples are and all the details that go into making such a special house of the Lord. Logan did pretty well, it is quite a journey for a toddler, and I hope that he was able to feel how important the temple is and make some kind of a connection between going to the temple open house and the songs he sings in Nursery. It wa

Yes, I know Heavenly Father Loves Me

Whenever I hear the song of a bird Or look at the blue, blue sky, Whenever I feel the rain on my face Or the wind as it rushes by, Whenever I touch a velvet rose Or walk by a lilac tree, I’m glad that I live in this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for me. He gave me my eyes that I might see The color of butterfly wings. He gave my ears that I might hear The magical sound of things. He gave me my life, mind, my heart; I thank Him rev’rently For all his creations, of which I’m a part. Yes, I know Heavenly Father loves me.
