One Year Old

He really is an entire year old! It is amazing to look at newborn babies and realize how much Logan has changed in such a short amount of time. He really is fun to be around and we can tell he already has a sense of humor.

I have also grown so much in the last year. Becoming a mother is something that no one can explain to you, everyone has such different experiences, and children are so individual and unique! I am glad that Logan, Josh, and I were such a great fit! He belongs in our little family and we are so lucky to have him.

Logan's Latest:

*The best word to describe Logan lately is Busy. He is constantly on the go. He has to be involved in anything we are doing. He constantly wants to un-do what was just done, mostly just to figure it out.

*It is considerably harder recently to take a picture of him, he will never sit still!

*He has finally started pulling himself to a stand! He has also become quite the fast crawler, especially when he sees us coming to get him.

*He loves books! His favorite thing to do is unload the book shelf with his books on it. I let him do it, because I figure at least they are his own books.

*Stacking, stacking, stacking. Blocks, toys, cups, everything. This kid is a stacking maniac.

*He says a couple of words, "Shoes" is a definite, and I thought I heard him say a few more, but he will never say the words when we want him to!

*Weaned to a cup. This is bittersweet for me, I really liked nursing, but 9 months pregnant, 12 months nursing, I am ready for my body back!

*Growing, growing, growing, finally! We went to the doctor on Tuesday and he was 31" 90%, 22 lbs. 8 1/2 oz. 45%, and 50 cm on his head 100%, it's like an orange on a toothpick, literally! He almost doubled his weight since he was 6 months old, he has finally put on some weight!

This is Logan's latest little trick!

He looks so old! I love his cute hair. Sounds like he would get along very well with Ben. I can just imagine how fast they'd make a mess if they were together. His giving the doll a bottle is so cute too!
Awwww, Happy Birthday, Logan!! He's getting so big! Hope you're doing well! :)

That video of him feeding the baby is too cute. Logan is going to make a great dad. That's funny that you say Logan is like an orange on a toothpick. Eli's like an orange on a...well, orange :)

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza.

Josh Had a Birthday, Shout Hooray!

I am so lucky to have these two guys in my life! I hope you had a good birthday yesterday, Josh!

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!
