Spring is Here!!!

The daffodils are in bloom! Yay!

I have a few pictures from about 6 weeks ago, but I can't get my most recent pictures to show up on the blogger thing to put them on the post, so they will have to wait.

The most exciting recent happening in our family is Mr. L learning to ride a bike with no training wheels. It was one of those mothering moments when time stood still and all the day to day things just didn't matter. He is growing up. He is a little man and he can ride a bike all by himself. Training wheel-less. It took 3 days. And he rides every spare minute he can. Especially those first few days. It is amazing. I love this weather!!! He had a birthday, which I will have to post some pics of :)

Also, I was called as Assistant Camp Director, which I am super-excited about and I started teaching a Tuesday, Thursday Preschool class from a couple weeks ago until the end of May. I am thinking about teaching T/TH preschool in the fall. This is getting my feet wet to see if I am ready for it :)

I love the pictures. Congrats Tiff on your calling and teaching position. Look how busy you are. I can't believe Logan rides without training wheels. Your kids are growing up.

I'm so glad you posted! I've been waiting for a new post with pictures and what you're up to. The kiddos are getting so big!

Way to go, L, on learning how to ride without training wheels! We're trying to get our son to do the same.

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza....

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!

3 Years

Here we are. The girls are 3 years old and I can hardly believe it. That is the crazy thing about being a mom. Seeing these ladies grow day by day makes it hard to tell how big they are. Whenever I happen to see a picture of them one or two years ago, I am blown away and how much they can do now, compared to before. I tend to focus on all the things they are getting into and how often they are fighting and not-so-much on the positives, but these ladies are truly amazing. I fill my pinterest quote board with sayings I find about "babies don't keep" and "sticky floors mean good experiences" and the like to keep my sanity semi-in-check. (It comes and goes) Truly sisters do make the best friends and I hope these ladies remain best friends the rest of eternity. They are so blessed to have each other.  When they are actually getting along :) I think about how nice it must be to have a constant playmate. They get along with other friends, but they get to have ...
