No

So, Logan is into everything and of course we are trying to keep him safe, and I am still trying to get things done with him around, and I guess he ends up hearing "no" more than he should. He has learned to say the word and when he goes toward something that is something he shouldn't touch, dishwasher, toilet, computer (he knows how to wake up the computer by either clicking on the mouse or hitting a key on the keyboard), etc. he will say "No", so I caught it on video today, and I must say it is pretty funny.

We had to tell you kids "no" a lot too. Takes us back to the "good old days". Good going, Logan. You're learning lots of new things. Love, grandma/grandpa Wood

Little boys are a lot of fun! On a different note... I checked out your link to Charm City Cakes. You probably know this but a lot of people don't, but Baltimore is know as "Charm City" (kind of irronic if you ask me but whatever). Anyway I was curious to see if it was in Baltimore and it is, then I got thinking that I have actually heard of it. They did a cool cake for the campuses bicenttenial while I was working there. It was a replica of the originall med school, a neat building called davidge hall. I found a pic on their website under fun stuff titled U of Md. Kind of fun you should check it out. Also, did you order your wedding cake from there? I saw a DeWitt cake. If so what is the story... how did you find these guys?

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza....

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!

3 Years

Here we are. The girls are 3 years old and I can hardly believe it. That is the crazy thing about being a mom. Seeing these ladies grow day by day makes it hard to tell how big they are. Whenever I happen to see a picture of them one or two years ago, I am blown away and how much they can do now, compared to before. I tend to focus on all the things they are getting into and how often they are fighting and not-so-much on the positives, but these ladies are truly amazing. I fill my pinterest quote board with sayings I find about "babies don't keep" and "sticky floors mean good experiences" and the like to keep my sanity semi-in-check. (It comes and goes) Truly sisters do make the best friends and I hope these ladies remain best friends the rest of eternity. They are so blessed to have each other.  When they are actually getting along :) I think about how nice it must be to have a constant playmate. They get along with other friends, but they get to have ...
