Springy Things

To transition me (yes, me, let's be honest!) to have Logan now home, because preschool is over, he went to this sports camp thing 4 morning for an hour. He ended up loving it. They went over Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Football. He is going to swimming lessons starting Monday and he is very excited :)

Loving, loving, loving the weather. We got the ladies a trike, so everyone has something to ride outside, and we are using them a lot.

My Grandma is amazing. She has been making cakes since about forever and I am sure she just freehanded this thing. Logan took forever deciding what to have. I thought he was going to be the one decisive person in our family, but turns out he isn't.

And Tessa now climbs out of her crib and the pack and play. Logan never did this, so it is a new thing for me. It is not fun and I am trying to decide if we should switch the girls to beds, (WHAT?!) my biggest nightmare, or keep trying to use the cribs. So far she has climbed out a thousand times and only fallen once. Eden puts her leg up because she watches Tessa, but I am thinking she is too nervous to really try. Love to hear ideas, although we aren't going the crib-tent route.

Thanks for the photo update. Spring is the best, well except for maybe fall.

Love the pictures and the update! I wish we lived closer to you. Anyway, good luck with the bed thing. If I were you I'd probably just rip off the bandaid (so to speak) and switch to beds. It's painful and horrible for the first few days (sometimes weeks), but it gets better. Hopefully. :D I don't know, but good luck whatever you choose to do!

How excited that Logan is trying all sorts of fun sports. I love that early experience with little boys. Good luck with the girls. Wish I had a fix all. Love ya!

I transitioned my little girl at 19 months after she climbed out once, but I only had one, so maybe just transition the one and see if the other stays in?
Oh Tiff. Going to a big bed can be a rough transition. With Hyrum it was a breeze. It's now, almost a year later, that he won't stay in bed for the life of him. After an hour of trying to keep him in bed tonight, I finally put him in our pack in play in the laundry room! Bahhhh! So frustrating! Good luck!

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza....

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!

3 Years

Here we are. The girls are 3 years old and I can hardly believe it. That is the crazy thing about being a mom. Seeing these ladies grow day by day makes it hard to tell how big they are. Whenever I happen to see a picture of them one or two years ago, I am blown away and how much they can do now, compared to before. I tend to focus on all the things they are getting into and how often they are fighting and not-so-much on the positives, but these ladies are truly amazing. I fill my pinterest quote board with sayings I find about "babies don't keep" and "sticky floors mean good experiences" and the like to keep my sanity semi-in-check. (It comes and goes) Truly sisters do make the best friends and I hope these ladies remain best friends the rest of eternity. They are so blessed to have each other.  When they are actually getting along :) I think about how nice it must be to have a constant playmate. They get along with other friends, but they get to have ...
