Home Sweet Home

Finally, some pictures of the inside. We moved two months ago, I am just slow with transitions. Although still without furniture, I felt as though the front room is ready to have some pictures posted of it. I am hoping to get the fireplace ready to have real fires this winter! And we still aren't sure exactly what type of couches we want to buy. Let us know if you have any ideas.

And Josh doing his thing at the grill. Yum. We are also going to be putting sod down in the near future, which will make the backyard much more playable!

What a beautiful place, Tiffany! You have done a great job of decorating. Here's my two cents on couches: if you can afford it, get leather. Microfiber is so hard to keep clean with kids. Our next couches will definitely be leather!

so cute! it was fun to see you tonight and I love your house. I agree with Paige. We have leather couches and we have fabric--the leather is much easier to clean with kids. But I hear microsuede is not too bad to clean either.

No Logan pictures?
Love it, love it. Looks like we'll be down that way next week, with dad's uncle passing away. Love, mom/grandma

The house looks gorgeous. I love what you've done to the place. I hope we can come see it in person sometime soon. And we have leather couches and they are really easy to keep clean. And I would say get the ones you really want, don't skimp a couple hundred to get ones you don't absolutely love, because you're going to have them for a long time. We skimpped and so we have couches that look nice, but aren't very comfortable. I wish now that we would have spent a little more for cute AND comfortable couches.

And am I not the worst friend in the world. HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!! I'm so sorry, life has been a little hectic with back to back grandparent visits. I hope you had a wonderful day! Call you soon.

And Josh looks at home on that grill. Maybe he can give Dave some tips :)

Whoo hoo! The place looks awesome! I love the floors. Personally I would go with microfiber couches, mostly because they look great and they wash out very easily if something is spilled on them. The only downside to them that I can think of is the static electricity every time you sit down. You'll be "shocked" at how much voltage they hold and pass onto (and into) you.

Tiff-

Love the house and the decorating looks beautiful! I bet you are loving having your own place. I especially like the wood floors. So much better in the cleanliness department when you have a two year old. As for the couches... I am with Karen, we haven't invested in nice couches yet but when we do I think leather is the way to go. My parents have one that is at least 15 years old and it looks as good as the day they purchased it. That is saying a lot considering it has survived 3 young kids of their own and now two grandkids. Glad you guys are doing good. Spencer has finished the residency and is open for buisness in Roy. So... if you need a dentist come on in, (I know it is probably a little to far for you guys) but seriously if you know anyone in the area we would love if you sent them our way. He can do anything from Implants and Venneers to routine restorative. Hope you guys are doing great! -Amber

A Couple of Updates

I haven't been very involved in the online world very much in the recent months. I haven't been feeling very well. I had mostly rejoined the feeling-better society and getting excited for the ultrasound which we had yesterday on January 15th. Yes, I am Pregnant!!! 20 weeks to be exact and I had gone to 4 doctors appointments and heard the heartbeat several times. Josh and I went to the ultrasound anxious to find out the gender, because we are planners of course. I got situated and the person doing the ultrasound put the wand on my belly and I looked up at the monitor and saw two circles. (I wish we had a picture of that, but we don't have that exact one) In my mind I said, "that is two heads." She said, "Oh, did you guys know you were having twins?" Josh turned, because he had not seen the two heads on the monitor yet and said, "Uh, no". And she said, "Well, you are!" Surprise. A few moments later we found out it was two girls. Wowza.

Josh Had a Birthday, Shout Hooray!

I am so lucky to have these two guys in my life! I hope you had a good birthday yesterday, Josh!

100th Post!

And Josh and I have been married for 4 years, Wahoo! I am so lucky to have Josh! He is strong where I am weak and somehow manages to make everything right whenever he's around. Most of all what I love having in him is a best friend. He watches my silly shows with me and makes me feel like the coolest girl around. In case you don't know how we met . . . be sure to always attend institute, and choir while you're at it. Josh joined the Orem Institute choir for the summer with a couple of his buddies, mostly to meet some women :) Well, Josh wasn't so lucky, but his friend was and ended up getting married, where Josh was the best man. I came to the wedding reception (I knew Emily from LD Singers, a choir through the Ephraim Institute) . . . and later Josh hinted that he wouldn't mind being set up on a date with me. 11 months later Josh and I were married! Thanks Jon and Emily!
