3 Years

Here we are. The girls are 3 years old and I can hardly believe it. That is the crazy thing about being a mom. Seeing these ladies grow day by day makes it hard to tell how big they are. Whenever I happen to see a picture of them one or two years ago, I am blown away and how much they can do now, compared to before. I tend to focus on all the things they are getting into and how often they are fighting and not-so-much on the positives, but these ladies are truly amazing. I fill my pinterest quote board with sayings I find about "babies don't keep" and "sticky floors mean good experiences" and the like to keep my sanity semi-in-check. (It comes and goes) Truly sisters do make the best friends and I hope these ladies remain best friends the rest of eternity. They are so blessed to have each other.  When they are actually getting along :) I think about how nice it must be to have a constant playmate. They get along with other friends, but they get to have ...

Spring is Here!!!

The daffodils are in bloom! Yay! I have a few pictures from about 6 weeks ago, but I can't get my most recent pictures to show up on the blogger thing to put them on the post, so they will have to wait. The most exciting recent happening in our family is Mr. L learning to ride a bike with no training wheels. It was one of those mothering moments when time stood still and all the day to day things just didn't matter. He is growing up. He is a little man and he can ride a bike all by himself. Training wheel-less. It took 3 days. And he rides every spare minute he can. Especially those first few days. It is amazing. I love this weather!!! He had a birthday, which I will have to post some pics of :) Also, I was called as Assistant Camp Director, which I am super-excited about and I started teaching a Tuesday, Thursday Preschool class from a couple weeks ago until the end of May. I am thinking about teaching T/TH preschool in the fall. This is getting my feet wet to...

These are the Days

Sometimes when my three children are sleeping I have these moments of tenderness that often can't be found during the crazy hectic day of mothering these three busy kids. Right now I am feeling that. Yes, it is tough. Yes, I get frustrated. Yes, I am not perfect. Yes, there are things I don't get done. But sometimes, when I have a moment to glance and pictures of these sweet smiles and think, someday I will miss this. That helps me make it through the mostly crazy days. Inspired by a blogpost that Chelece sent me that is floating around facebook and the blogosphere. Read it if you haven't :)  Drops of Awesome And I have a new nephew. I am loving that.

A Little Window

I can't get the movie to work, but maybe later :( A little 43 second window into my life! Pretty soon they both won't be able to fit in the bath like this! Talking on her phone ;) At least they are wearing helmets :)

The Crazies

A blog post?! Yes.  I finally have two girls sleeping with a few minutes to spare. My pictures from the past couple months are somewhere else, but I chose these few, because my current life is consumed in motherhood. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Logan truly Lost his first tooth

I started this blog when Logan was 3 months old. I posted about his first tooth , and here I am posting about him losing it :) We were eating some pizza and watching a movie on Friday night. Suddenly he says, "WHERE IS MY TOOTH?!" We looked all over, but we decided he must have swallowed it. His tooth has been loose awhile, so we have been talking about him "loosing" it. He turned to us after we couldn't find it and says. "I really did lose it, I guess." Ha! Comedian. Lucky for him the Tooth Fairy still came for the fist time to our home :) And a couple of fan pics :) Tessa is saying "BYU"
